Copernicus was originally registered as a public company in 1917. Copernicus' original business focus was in Aerospace Technology development and later in 1989 added developing the next generation of emerging access technology as a second focus of its business. In 2010, Copernicus became involved through its association with CAEDZ, LLC with the Global Climate Change Initiative (GCCI). Copernicus is responsible for researching and assisting in building the interconnection of Digital Network Infrastructure and applications related to aerospace control systems, smart cities, smart roads, and power grids, converting MSW to usable energy, fiber backbones, and low-voltage sensor technology supporting GCCI Partners.
